La Cultivada was born from a dream.
And I don’t mean symbolically, but literally.
One night, while I was sleeping at La Fábrica, the window of secrets opened and there was a bird…
La Fábrica is a beautiful spot in Moratilla de los Meleros, Guadalajara, Spain.
It used to be a Spanish factory where they made soaps from olive oil.
Now it’s called CASAICON and it’s a one-of-a-kind place inspired by a Japanese ryokan.
Think of it like a giant cabin with stone walls and portraits made of chocolate on the walls.
Everything there is alive and beautiful, it makes noise, it speaks, it serves a purpose…
And as if that weren’t enough, you’re allowed to be yourself. Whoever you are.
There’s a secret password to enter that I’m sharing with you alone:
WE HAVE DECIDED NO TO DIE.
(In Spanish: ‘Hemos decidido no morir’)
See how important it was to lend me your ear?
I don’t just chatter on, sometimes I drop in essential life lessons.
Read here all my “CULTIVATED STORIES”.
